Knowledgewebb now has badges!
What the heck are badges, you ask? They’re our way of making training and learning more fun. As you take classes, attend webinars and live chats, participate in our discussion forums and read other content on the Knowledgewebb site, you’ll start to unlock a number of virtual awards. For example, if you complete five live chats, you’ll win the Chatty Cathy badge, which will be displayed on your Member Profile page as well as next to your username in the discussion forums and anywhere on the site where you leave comments. If you see badges on another member’s profile that you don’t have yourself, you can roll your mouse over those badges to see what they’re called.

FAQ: Badges
Q: Is there a way to see what all of the badges are and rules for how to earn them?
A: Nope! That would take all the fun out of earning them! The more you use and explore Knowledgewebb, the more badges you’ll unlock. We have lots of surprises and clever virtual gifts for you all over the site...
Q: How can I unlock more badges?
A: The answer is simple: the more you train, read, watch and discuss at Knowledgewebb, the more badges you’ll unlock.
Q: Once I earn a badge, can I lose it?
A: If you’ve earned it, the badge is yours forever!
Q: Hey, I’m already a member of Knowledgewebb and with the number of classes I've taken, I'm pretty sure I deserve some badges. Why don’t I see any?
A: Because we just launched the service! Unfortunately, your work in the past won’t count towards earning new badges.
Q: Badges? We don't need no stinking badges! Explain to me again why I want these things?
A: For one thing, they make learning more fun. The more you train, the more you’ll unlock. We promise, they get more and more interesting. We’ve also noticed that a community has developed here at Knowledgewebb, and our members are eager to connect with each other socially. Badges offer exciting, friendly competition, as you’ll soon learn.
Q: I love the design of your badges! Who created them?
A: That would be graphic and interactive designer guru Esti Gerson. We love ‘em too! If you’re interested in design, we highly recommend Esti’s blog Loopy Rocket, where Esti unearths all sorts of fabulous websites as well as commercial and public art.
Q: Is there any way to get physical copies of my badges? Like stickers or something?
A: That’s certainly an option! If you’re interested, email us: ideas@knowledgewebb.net
Q: I know that I should have earned a badge just now, but it’s not showing up. Help!
A: Just email us at problem@knowledgewebb.net and we’ll investigate.
